What you're paid for, and what it means for your playlist
Spotify's user guidelines don't allow accepting any compensation, financial or otherwise, to influence the content included on a playlist. SubmitHub's guide for playlisters says that with a high-quality playlist you can charge a small fee for considering music. On SubmitHub the credit pays you for listening to a premium submission and replying, whether you approve or decline. That is being paid for consideration. SubmitHub's own line is that curators share tracks because they like them.

On SubmitHub you choose a price of one to four credits per submission, and you earn from each premium submission you reply to. SubmitHub's public pages don't say what share of each credit reaches you, and their terms say earned funds may be cashed out upon your request.
