Playlist Push vs Soundmango

Spotify's User Guidelines don't allow “accepting or offering to accept any compensation, financial or otherwise, to influence the name of an account or playlist or the content included on an account or playlist,” and Spotify for Artists says charging money to be considered for user playlists is against Spotify's terms. Playlist Push's curator page says: “You are paid to listen and give thoughtful feedback, not to add songs.” Artists are told they pay for “a professional review and guaranteed consideration.” That is paying for consideration.

Their curator program page promises “Instant payouts.” Their help center says a requested payout “will reach your account within 4 business days,” and their article on the benefits of becoming a curator says you “will be paid weekly.”

Reviewing every track

Their help center says “you are not required to listen to and review every song you receive.” Their list of reasons a curator account gets removed includes “Not reviewing songs / become an inactive curator.”
